Oklahoma State Art Collection Gallery

The new Capitol Art Collection Gallery project consisted of renovating 4,700 SF of space. The new gallery is located on the first floor just west of the rotunda and houses the Oklahoma State Art Collection. This renovation brought back the beautiful marble floor and plaster molding that were covered in the 1970's when this area of the Capitol was remodeled into offices. New museum quality lighting, security and HVAC systems were installed specifically for the artwork. The project was completed in the Fall of 2007 in time for the Oklahoma Centennial Celebration.
