MA+ Architecture was hired by SWOSU to design an addition to their historic campus landmark that would update its appearance yet mimic design elements from its prairie style architectural beginnings. This 20,000 square foot 2 story addition consists of: a new 2 story atrium lobby, restrooms, ADA and life safety upgrades, food service offices, student lounges, and Alumni and Development offices. The existing building was renovated to include a new retail area, coffee/internet cafe', state of the art food court, and renovated ballrooms with a roof terrace and adjacent meeting rooms. The project was completed in September of 2006.
