This new state of the art learning environment for Deer Creek Public Schools consists of two new elementary schools in one that will house 1,600 students for this rapidly growing district. The project consists of a 204,000 SF school with 78 classrooms, dual administration areas, two media centers, two gymnasiums, one of which is a storm shelter for the entire school, and two cafeterias that double as event centers for the community after hours. The school is divided into four pod-like “neighborhoods” to help with teaching and to promote student collaboration.
