Carbondale Assembly of God

Tulsa, OK

Interior Design, Worship

Carbondale Assembly of God’s Sanctuary was built in 1967, survived the May 3rd, 1999 tornado and still remains the center of worship. The sanctuary continues to maintain its spirit and status today as the center of the church but advancing its finishes and technology for modern worship. The 10,400-square-foot renovation brings the environmental worship experience to the beautiful octagonal timber frame structure of 1967. To enhance the sanctuary as the center of the church, an 8,000-square-foot addition radiates out on all sides of the existing sanctuary to provide new lobby, event space and interior connections to backstage areas. New features include an expanded stage, choir rehearsal room, media control room, hospitality bar and event space.
