Mark Kasulis

Project Architect + Associate

AIA, NCARB

Mark Kasulis is a project architect and associate at MA+ Architecture with more than a decade of experience managing projects from design through construction. Mark’s passion for sports, puzzles, and hands on construction have bridged into his role at MA+ where he works on many of our athletic, education, and storm shelter projects.

Mark’s enthusiasm for design, creativity, and problem solving was stemmed from playing with LEGO, K’NEX, and Erector Sets as a kid. Born and raised in Norman, Mark naturally followed his siblings and attended the University of Oklahoma where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Architecture. When asked about what drove him to becoming an architect he will tell you, “I’m just a LEGO kid that grew up… I’m told the ‘growing up’ is still up for debate though.”

His love of sports and all things competitive is rivaled by few. A team mentality is a value that Mark has maintained from sports and embraces in projects. In Norman, where he and his wife are raising their three children, he can often be found coaching their teams and cheering on the Thunder and Sooners. In his copious free time to himself (insert sarcastic font here), Mark enjoys working in the workshop to build whatever project they can come up with next.
