Designed in the 1960s, the historic Western Oaks Middle School was built to last. The school's structural essentials include original terrazzo flooring and CMU walls, but these surfaces lacked the vibrant colors and forms that speak to the pride of the Western Oaks Warriors. Putnam City Schools sought out a designer capable of introducing well-crafted spaces through the use of school colors, energetic wall coverings, and contemporary lighting.

Meeting this challenge head-on, our skilled team of interior designers helped the school reimagine its public spaces through an energetic lens. Bright wall coverings, signage, and modernized lighting helped transform the interior while maintaining the integrity of the existing structure. The addition of flexible learning spaces encourages movement throughout the campus, enhancing collaboration and creativity for both students and staff. Finishing touches of school colors and branding transform the space and instill a sense of pride, creating enriching learning environments within the Putnam City School District.
